A new decision publishing the references of harmonised standards for PPE has been adopted last Friday, 12 June 2026 and was published in the Official Journal on the 16th.

This decision repeals the previous one with all its amendments and publish a new updated consolidated list of PPE standards, including the following new additions:

• EN 397:2025, EN 397:2025/AC:2025 on industrial protective helmets,
• EN ISO 10256-1:2024 on protective equipment for use in ice hockey (general requirements),
• EN ISO 10256-2:2024 on head protectors for skaters,
• EN ISO 10256-3:2024 on face and eye protectors for skaters,
• EN ISO 10256-4:2024 on head and face protectors for goalkeepers,
• EN ISO 12312-1:2022 and EN ISO 12312-1:2022/A11:2024on sunglasses for general use,
• EN 12492:2025 on helmets for mountaineers,
• EN 17353:2020+A1:2025 on enhanced visibility clothing,
• EN 17961:2025 on load sharing devices for mountaineering,
• EN 18100:2025 on helmets for ski mountaineers and
• EN ISO 21420:2020, EN ISO 21420:2020/A1:2024 on protective gloves.
