PPE Seminar

11-13 June 2025 at the Martin's Château du Lac, Genval, Brussels

The aim of the seminar is bringing together European PPE experts dealing with: legislation, standardisation, selection and use of PPE, testing, certification, research, manufacturing, market surveillance and workplace inspection. This in order to discuss new developments and sustainability/circular economy in the area of Personal Protective Equipment.

In an informal setting, this seminar provides a unique forum for disseminating findings in the PPE field, and gives speakers and participants an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences.

The seminar opens Wednesday with lunch followed by a plenary session ‘setting the scene’. On Thursday, parallel sessions in smaller groups are foreseen to allow all participants to actively discuss different topics in more detail. On Friday morning after summaries of the parallel sessions we will look into challenges and opportunities for the next period.

“Magical Hacks” is an interactive talk, brimming with digital spectacle and never-before-seen ethical hacks, served up to the audience as miraculous magic tricks. Besides being entertaining, the unique concept also has educational value: each ‘magic hack’ is explained after demonstration, accompanied by concrete tips on how participants themselves can become more cyber resilient. No weekday cybersecurity lecture on passwords or fraud, but a haunting revelation of real hacks that unfold before the eyes of the audience!

Inti De Ceukelaire is known for his high-profile security awareness ranks, such as manipulating the Vatican's website and creating fake news on Donald Trump's Twitter account.
